"Opera Warwick and Codpiece’s bold choice of production definitely paid off in this unique performance."
In a slight deviation from the regular repetoire of the company, Opera Warwick decided to bravely go where many Opera Companies often don't; into the complex mock-opera of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.
Using a seven person movement ensemble and vocal chorus, making a cast of nearly 30 people in exam season, the production made for challenging work in the intimate studio space with no set. However this meant an entirely new group of people being welcomed into the already well established group within the company, all of whom we will be working with on next year's exciting production!
